This week’s cooking post is lemon Greek yogurt cake!
Yogurt? You may be asking yourself. It makes the end result more dense (in a milky way) so the loaf/cake will still taste like it normally would, just a little less airy and light.
Below is the recipe I used to make my lemon Greek yogurt cake loaf, but feel free to find or create your own and experiment – after all, that’s half the fun! 🙂 I found my recipe from the fairy crumbs blog.
Here is the recipe:
– 2 cups of self raising flour
– 1 1/2 cups of Greek yoghurt
– 1 cup of caster sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1/2 cup of melted butter
Read the recipe carefully & gather all ingredients.
Mix all the wet ingredients together and add sugar and flour.
Bake for 20-30 mins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
Sift Icing sugar on top & enjoy!
Slice into rectangles and serve! 🙂
