Style Trend: The Summer Jumpsuit

Jumpsuits are becoming increasingly popular as the weather gets warmer…

They can be dressed up for an occasion, for example: a dinner party, work function or a more formal meet and greet, or dressed down for a stroll along the beach, shopping trip, or coffee catchup with friends. Although they are transeasonal, I personally think jumpsuits were made for spring/summer… the bright colours, playful patterns, exotic fabrics, wide range of shapes and fits, and all the possible accessories!

In search of a jumpsuit to call your own after reading this post?

Here are some brands I can reccomend:

Esprit (they have a lovely blue one with jeanie pant detail around the ankle,

and bright exotic flowers and a paisley pattern on it)

Forever New (they have some coral summer ones, and some floral patterned longer ones)

Dotti (they have some boho style ones if you’re more into 70’s style, and bright colours)

Country Road (they have some elegant classic ones that can be dressed up or down)

Stuck for ideas for accessories?

Floppy hats, statement clutches, big sunnies, bold lipstick/gloss, curls/waves/or straight hair, if it’s summer a top knot always looks chic, or a more mild day in spring a half up, half down top knot would look just as stylish and on trend.

Rose gold is also trending at the moment, so I can recommend bangles and rings in rose gold also, and bold earrings, a sharp blazer in a contrasting hue is also a go to if it’s on the chilly side, or a light shawl for over the shoulders if it’s a spring garden party.

Enjoy! Happy shopping! 🙂
