This Autumn it’s all about layers and statement garments. It is quite simple to achieve this look and in today’s post I’m going to share some of my style tips and layering ideas to give you some wardrobe inspiration.

#1: The oversized sweater…

Don’t think you need to go out and buy a designer label sweatshirt, in fact think simple and relatively minimal hues and pair with accessories to make a style statement.

Although saying that, this jewelled dressed up sweatshirt looks just as chic and edgy.

#2: The tie-bow knit dress…

The tie-bow knit dress is a comfy and cosy wardrobe essential this Autumn. The look is also rather versatile, so it’s a perfect trendy  9am-5pm fashion must-have.

The street style inspired look is back this Autumn and it’s showing no signs of leaving anytime soon. Pair an everyday sweatshirt (#1) with a leather jacket or mini skirt and sneakers and you’re good to go.

 #7: The new overcoat…

This new trend certainly makes a statement and compliments the layering look. Seen worn by many global style icons and fashionistas, this new trend caters for all styles.

If you’re a classic kinda girl, I’d recommend pairing with a neutral hue with a classic white tie-neck blouse (trend alert) or if you prefer a more modern look I’d probably go for a black overcoat paired with a vibrant sweatshirt or textured skirt.
