2016: The Year of The Bucket Bag

I feel as though I’ve been meaning to write about bucket bags for months now… Although I’ve briefly mentioned them in other blog posts, I haven’t gone into much detail, so I thought with the joyous Springtime vibe kicking into full swing, I’d share my thoughts and style advice for Spring and Summer months ahead!

All you need to do is scroll through your Instagram feed to discover that 2016 is the year of the bucket bag! Although numerous bag trends have dappled in the fashionista spotlight over the past few months, the bucket bag has held strong and remained a chic and must-have, not to mention perfect for the warmer months to come! 🙂

#1: Mansur Gavriel

Mansur Gavriel have such a stylish and colourful range of bucket bag designs, with their most recent collection no exception… Varying from suede or patent, to calf skin leather, there’s a design and colour for everyone’s taste! I personally adore these mini suede pink designs… Maybe it’s because I love pink, maybe’s it’s because I’m slightly (okay – overly), obsessed with bucket bags, or maybe’s it’s that they’re Mansur Gavriel?! 🙂

What’s not to love… For style inspiration and new collection announcements, you can follow Mansur Gavriel @mansurgavriel on Instagram or follow the link to their official website here.

#2: Camelia Roma

I recently discovered Camelia Roma and let me tell you – it was love at first sight! I absolutely adore their wide range of Italian leather bags and definitely have my eye on a few designs, (okay – all of them)! 🙂

I love this Spring/Summer ensemble by Levi Nguyen featuring Camelia Roma’s leather bucket bag. Pairing a neutral hue bucket bag with a minimalist pleated skirt, an on trend nautical stripe bardot blouse and statement lace up heels, you can create a classic and stylish look just like Levi.

#3: Mon Purse

Mon Purse is another favourite of mine… After custom designing my own leather pastel pink clutch with rose gold monogramming, I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed with a Mon Purse bag… 🙂

Needless to say, their classic bucket bag design comes in a range of colours and they’re all very Instagram worthy! Complete with a matching leather pouch for easy access to your everyday essentials, Mon Purse has your go-to Spring handbag sorted! 🙂

Blue isn’t always a colour you’ll find in my wardrobe, but this vibrant sea blue Mansur Gavriel mini bucket bag might be a fashion game changer for me! 🙂

  1. Hi
I saw that you bought a camelia roma bucket bag. Can I check with you if you ship this item to Singapore from the website? They do international shipping to Singapore? Thanks

  2. Hi, I can’t place a new order on Camelia Roma’s online store because I’m in Asia/Pacific region. May I know how I can purchase the bag online since I’m in Singapore ? Thank you 🙂
