You only have to open Instagram to be faced with some serious #coachella goals – if you are like myself and didn’t attend the music festival (totally rocking #couchella though 🙂 ) and are keen to experiment with some of the trends from this year’s festival, you’ve come to the right place! 🙂
Today I’m sharing my favourite Coachella looks and styling tips on how to recreate them for any occasion – enjoy!
I love how Michelle Take Aim has styled this gorgeous off the shoulder jumpsuit. Perfect for Coachella but also a weekend getaway or tropical holiday – think Fiji and the Maldives (to name a few….)
Off the Shoulder Trend
Although the off the shoulder trend has been around for quite a while now – it’s been stronger than ever this year at Coachella. I love how Thrifts & Threads has styled a white one here with embellished denim shorts, white boots and retro sunnies – very boho-chic!
These tops really are so versatile. My favourite designs at the moment would be by Zara, H&M and Topshop.
Denim has been everywhere this Coachella season, from jumpsuits and flowing blouses to cut off shorts and bell sleeve dresses – it’s EVERYWHERE. I love this chic denim dress worn by Michelle Take Aim.
Pom Pom Sandals
Another trend taking over Coachella this year is pom pom sandals. We can expect to see these beauties everywhere this Spring & Summer season! I love how Lisa Hamilton has styled a bright and colourful pair of pom pom sandals here with a stylish off the shoulder jumpsuit – gorgeous!
Feeling festive? Why not try recreating some Coachella vibes with glitter and jewel makeup and braids. Invite your girlfriends over and make a day of it! Pinterest is the ultimate source of beauty and hair inspo, including easy to follow how-tos and video tutorials. Have fun! 🙂
On the topic of beauty, tassel accessories were everywhere at Coachella! From earrings to blouses and sundresses to necklaces and sandals – you name it, you can find them with tassels!
I’ve even found two really stylish DIY step by step guides to making your own pair of tassel earrings (gotta love Pinterest!) One is with hoop earrings here and the other is drop earrings here. They are both quite different and unique and seem rather easy and fun to make! Let me know in the comments section below whether you’ll be trying any of these. I’d love to see the results! 🙂
I hope you enjoyed this week’s blog post on all things Coachella! It’s a bit of a different style to what I normally post (more classic and minimalist fashion) but I thought as I really enjoyed following everyone’s outfits and experiences on Instagram this year, why not write a blog post about how to recreate these festival looks?! 🙂
Will you be experimenting with any of these styles?
Share your thoughts & ideas in the comments section below – only your chosen nickname will be displayed – or on Instagram @daisy_chain_daydreams. I’d love to hear from you!
