This week, I thought I would share some of my favourite shoe trends for this Autumn & Winter season. From the classic (and comfortable) white sneaker, to the edgy studded boot – I’m sharing some styling tips to make recreating these looks a breeze! Enjoy! 🙂
Okay, so no surprise here – the Gucci loafer took the world by storm in 2016 and has remained a classic wardrobe essential in 2017. I love the slip on loafers too – they add such effortless cool to just about any outfit. Think a chunky neutral turtleneck paired with gingham culottes (trend alert!), statement earrings and (you guessed it) – Gucci loafers. It really is a fail-safe look that is perfect if you’re in a hurry in the morning or looking for a comfy outfit that will still look chic and polished.
I bought myself a pair of navy blue Stan Smith sneakers last year and haven’t looked back. They were worth every penny and are super comfy and chic. I wasn’t sure what type of sneakers I wanted to be for a little while but am so glad I chose these! They go with everything in my wardrobe (LITERALLY EVERYTHING) and have been featured all over my Instagram (@daisy_chain_daydreams) recently.
Givenchy Studded Oxfords
For those Autumn days when it’s not quite boot weather but not loafer weather either (hopefully you know what I mean?!), these Givenchy Leather Monk Strap Oxfords are perfect! They really dress up any outfit so pair them with classic wardrobe essentials for extra street style brownie points! 🙂
The 80s are back folks! White boots are taking the fashion world by storm this year, with celebrities and influential bloggers from all around the globe embracing the returning trend! Luxury designers such as Chloé and Stuart Weitzman have some incredible designs, whilst high street labels have equally gorgeous styles, think Zara and Topshop.
Whether in white, black, grey or blush (my personal favourite), Reebok Classics really are so versatile. They are perfect for a post-workout coffee pitstop and/or everyday errands. It’s hard running around in high heels all the time! 🙂
These Chanel two-toned sling back heels are all over social media at the moment. Celebrities and fashion magazine editors alike, are all loving this trend. It was back in 1957 that Gabrielle Chanel first introduced the shoe, then in 2015 Karl Lagerfeld reintroduced the shoe back onto the runway. This really is a timeless design and will never truly leave the world of fashion.
I hope you enjoyed this week’s style blog post! I’d love to hear from you! So feel free to share your favourite shoe trends of the season in the comments section below (only your chosen nickname will be displayed) or say hello @daisy_chain_daydreams on Instagram!
