Although I haven’t been wearing that much makeup during ISO, I’ve enjoyed popping on a little *something something* some days, whether it’s for work, a uni zoom call or a facetime with friends… or even just for fun hehe!
I’ve been trying some lovely new products, as well as rediscovering some products whilst “shopping my stash” recently, so I thought it might be fun to pop together a little list of some of the products making my skin glowy, rosey and more *alive* haha! I hope you find some pretty new makeup discoveries to explore next hehe….
Model’s Prefer green routine BB cream: I find this lovely for a lightweight dewy(ish) base that’s slightly more coverage than the Mecca Cosmetica weekend skin tint (especially when I have a breakout or redness), which I find the Mecca one doesn’t really cover much in my honest opinion. I also have the concealer from this range which I enjoyed for a “lightening” lightweight concealer (and have actually finished recently).
Mecca Max zoom eyeshadow sticks in “metal” and “baby pink”: I’ve been enjoying creating fun colourful eyeliner looks with these eyeshadow sticks. I find they last longer (when applied as eyeshadow) with a primer. I also have the “olive” shade which is super fun and something different!
Mecca Max Gloss Boss lip-gloss in “cool it”: This is a beautiful peachy neutral glossy shade (for my pale skin tone), and is a lovely formula! I think I might need to add a couple more to my collection soon hehe!
Canmake Tokyo Glow Fleur Cheeks blush: this pressed powder blush is such a delight! It sits as beautifully on the cheeks as it does in the packaging… I know cream and liquid blushes are more “in vogue” at the moment, but I wouldn’t overlook this brand either hehe! Oh and did I mention it looks super cute in your collection too!
Mecca Cosmetica “Lit From Within” illuminating drops: I’d describe this highlighter is liquid gold in a bottle! It’s so beautiful and glowy, creating a sun-kissed golden glow, and an almost bronzed look if you have rather pale skin like myself.
Mecca Max “Bring on Bright” illuminating primer: This primer is certainly glow-boosting! You can apply it before your base like a normal primer or even just to the high points of your face for a more subtle glow… either way, both these Mecca highlighters are gorgeous and glowy!
Mco Beauty liquid blush in “dusk”: The lovely and ever so thoughtful Rolly Mag kindly gifted me this blush a couple of weeks ago, and I’ve been enjoying wearing it as a watercolour style blush and applies to create a flushed cheek look, which I think is rather flattering! I’m interested to see how these compare with the Flower Beauty “blush bombs” – have you tried either of these blushes before?
I hope you enjoyed this little beauty blog post! I’d love to hear your favourite go-to makeup products for glowy, rosey and “your skin but better” vibes hehe!
