(Belated) October Weekend Reading List…

*Well* it’s been a hot minute since I last posted, I’ve been quite busy with uni and work over the last couple of months, but I’m looking forward to immersing myself back into the bright and invigorating blogosphere and Instagram community now I’m on holidays! I thought I’d dip my toe back into blogging with a wrap-up post of the content I’ve been enjoying lately. Enjoy! 🙂

An important read about the lack of Asian representation in the Australian media by my fave Maggie Zhou (and lots of amazing content creators to add to your daily Instagram scroll for inspiration).

An interesting article about beauty and skincare consumer trends during lockdown (and video interview with Adore Beauty founder Kate Morris).

TWICE, one of my favourite K-pop girl’s groups, released their new album ‘Eyes Wide Open’ recently and it’s filled with all the *tunes* – I especially love ‘Queen’ and ‘Go Hard’.

A thought-provoking piece by Millie Spencer for The Standard about entrepreneurs during COVID-19 and the proactive production of hand sanitiser and face masks for the greater good.

The icon, Maggie Zhou (yep, this is basically a fan account at this point haha!), also wrote this insightful piece for Fashion Journal about being incognito on Instagram.

I’ve developed my love for blush over the last year or so, but I’m still learning… so this article dissecting the ‘art of the blusher’ is fabulous!

Everything you need to know about ‘maskne’ and tips for treating it.

Thanks to Hannah English x Maggie Zhou, I think I *finally* understand that I should start double cleansing haha! I can feel you rolling your eyes at me Laura haha 🙂 (Frank Body pictured above: Hannah English).

Oh if you thought I’d sprinkled enough K-pop references into this blog post, think again haha… the new minisode album by TXT is all the positive vibes we need right now, all the songs are bops! If you’re fans of ‘Dynamite’, I think you’ll also enjoy listening to ‘Blue Flame’.

An article for those curious about the “influencer” landscape in Australia.

And that’s a wrap folks! I hope you found some interesting content to explore! I’d love to hear what content and media you’ve been enjoying recently, let’s share the love for fellow content creators in the comments.
